Peterson Parodies Presentation

Kingman 8th graders had the opportunity to hear a guest speaker at the high school.  Greg Peterson was his name and he talked to Them about what he liked doing--farming. His family consists of a father and mother, two brothers and a sister. They do parodies about agriculture.  They pick songs and then post the parodies on Youtube. He said he has been to many of places around the world talking about his song parodies. He said that he would hear other songs on the radio then turn them into a song parodies.

8th graders were asked about their favorite song parody of the Peterson Farm Brothers. Deanna Cheatum, Kasey Picket, Lucas Streight and Garrett Willert said they liked the song “I’m Farming and I Grow It” parody. Nate Myrick, Kane Milford and Eric Fairchild picked “Chore.” Cory Drake picked the “I’m So Farmer” parody.

The eighth graders felt the presentation was a worthwhile experience.  The Kingman Farm Bureau provided grilled hamburgers for the whole school.  It was a fun day for all involved.
