HELLO, MY NAME IS...

EIGHTH GRADE INTERVIEWS
During the past couple weeks, the eighth grade students in Mrs. Austin's Business Essentials classes have been learning about the job interviewing process. Dr. Bob Diepenbrock, Superintendent of Schools, was kind enough to offer his expertise in interviewing the students. Each of the 42 students took a career test. They then selected an occupation for which they were suited, prepared a resume, and practiced typical interview questions. During the interviews, Dr. Diepenbrock rated the students on such things as promptness, appropriate dress, appropriate introduction, quality of their answers, etc. Each of the students had an opportunity to gain valuable employment skills which will be of great benefit to them in the future. Mrs. Austin and her students would like to thank Dr. Diepenbrock for sharing his time and knowledge with them.
