In the AFC Championship game, the New England Patriots were accused of deflating the footballs which would have given them an advantage in the game. Do you think the Patriots deflated the balls? There are lots of different explanations as to how the balls could have deflated. The temperature could have made them deflate. It could have been purposely done by the team. It could have been an accident by the equipment handler. Some Kingman Middle School students were asked about the issue. Noah Smith said that he thought the balls were purposely deflated to give the Patriots an advantage. On the other hand, Nathan Myrick said that the balls were not deflated. He said that the Patriots didn’t need an advantage. We may never know the truth.
