This month’s book is
Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham. This book is about Sam-I-Am trying to
persuade a person to try something new. That happens to be green eggs and ham.
Sam-I-Am asks him if he would have them in a house or with a mouse, in a tree
or on a train. Sam persistently keeps asking his friend if he would eat green
eggs and ham. This book has cute characters and lovely rhymes. As one of
Seuss’s most famous stories, the list of places to eat green eggs and ham
becomes longer and longer. Read and follow Sam-I-Am as he urges his friend to
try his unusual snack. These books
encourage young children to read all by themselves. This book is recommended for
grades kindergarten through third grade (or any age).
