FBLA (Future Business Leaders of
America), a Kingman High School chapter, is sponsoring our annual March of Dimes
fundraiser. March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization that works to
improve the health of mothers and babies and focuses on the prematurity rate of
babies in the U.S. today.
Again this year we a setting up a
competition among the classes to see who can raise the most money. There
will be a contribution jar in each of your classrooms beginning Monday, Feb. 3,
and ending Friday, Feb. 28. The class section (Example 7-1) that collects
the most money from each grade will get candy bars.
The school will also be divided into
the following groups: Group 1 - Kindergarten through Second Grade, Group
2 - Third Grade through Fifth Grade, and Group 3 – Sixth Grade
through Eighth Grade. When the money is counted on Feb. 28, the group
with the most collected will be awarded a pizza party.
