As the Scholars’
Bowl season is just about to kickoff, we asked five Scholars’ Bowl participants
questions. The first question was, “What is your favorite topic in Scholars’
Bowl? Hannah Epley’s favorite topic is fine arts. Sydney Roe's and Elizabeth
Carter's favorite is math, Riley Krehbiel’s favorite topic is sports, and
Samantha Kostner’s favorite topic is Language Arts. The second question we
asked was, “What meet are you most looking forward to?” Hannah, Samantha, and
Elizabeth are looking forward to Bluestem. Sydney is looking forward to the
Cheney meet, and Riley is looking forward to playing in Kingman. The final
question we asked was, “What is your favorite thing about Scholars' Bowl?”
Hannah’s favorite thing about Scholars’ Bowl is getting out of school. Sydney’s
is getting to socialize with other people. Elizabeth Carter's favorite is it
makes her think, and Samantha’s favorite thing about Scholars' Bowl is learning
more. Riley Krehbiel’s favorite thing is the donuts. All participants agreed that Scholars’ Bowl is really
awesome and you really learn a lot.
